Château Latour-Martillac White
2010
The 2010 Vintage
After a cold winter in 2010, bud burst was later than usual in the vineyards. Rain in June affected the flowering. Thanks to this natural selection a green harvest was not necessary. From June 21st, summer began in earnest with beautiful sunshine, and continued thus into July; here the vines and grapes made up for lost time. The month of August was dry with cool nights, which allowed the slow and steady ripening of the grapes. The harvest took place under excellent conditions, with the grapes coming in perfect health.

Tasting notes
Wine Enthusiast – 93 pts (2013/05)
« This fresh and fruity wine offers touches of apricot and a depth of richness. It’s beautifully bright and crisp, with lively acidity and a final lemon crispness on the close. »
The Wine Advocate by Robert Parker – 90 pts (2013/02)
« Crisp, earthy, with hints of ripe figs, mango, creme brulee and lemon custard, this is a beauty with some toasty oak. Drink it over the next decade. »
