The 2001 Vintage
Spring was slow to burst. Blooming was somewhat delayed, but happened in exceptional heat conditions. A nice dry weather engendered an even and quick flowering, which was through by June 15th. Late to start with (beginning of August), it was over within 2 weeks.

« Very ripe and powerful, with loads of apple tart and vanilla character. Full-bodied, with fresh acidity and a very long aftertaste. This is loaded with character. This has always been a great white producer, but few people know it. Best after 2004. 2,500 cases made. »
